sleeping in on saturdays

This past week, I could feel it in my bones, in my soul. It was time to make a change. Breaking down on a rainy Monday, watching the traffic buzz by, I decided something needs to change. Live simple. Take my life and cut the muck out and draw the good in. Get off the computer and in the air. Get out of the stuffy rooms and get into the trees and books I have stacked on my shelves. Instead of just being, and walking through this life, day to day, doing nothing to enrich my life, I am going to make small changes. Cleaning out my house and garage, picking up a book or two instead of turning on the TV. Painting... ahh what a night! Saving my money and feeling what It is like to eat a fridge down or make food from scratch. Live off what I got and don't need anything for a while. Lean on those that are sticking around and make a pie for them! discover guitar again, break my weak fingers into those strings and sing to the night. rediscover writing and feeling.
